  Loved the beautiful little outdoor patio behind the main restaurant, and the food was good, but not great. Some things were better than others, like the black and blue (steak w/ potatoes and blue cheese) and the pulled lamb taco. Unfortunately, we had a waitress with an "I'm really busy and important" attitude which left a bad taste in my mouth. I might go back if I were in the neighborhood on a beautiful summer day, but it's not on the top of my list.

  I'm beyond pleased. My girlfriend and I had a delightful time at VOLO last weekend. Our server had a contagious attitude and was willing to clarify or answer all our questions. The 3-course GDINE offering was quite filling and the variety of options quite refreshing; we recommend the belly sticks and the Mussels.The private cabana seating on the heated patio was a nice touch!

  We had a great time at the champagne tasting on Saturday. The hors d'overes were delicious. We plan on returning soon but definetly will make the tasting an annual event!!!

  We enjoyed the experience, however the word Champagne should not have been used as we tasted Sparkling Wines and Prosecco. Otherwise it was great.

  The 3 course tasting menu was superb. Wonderful flavors done perfectly-with plenty of food. Although I wanted more lamb tacos- because they were so delicious. Wine flights were also generous servings and proved to have good contrasting flavors. Our server was attentive and very nice. The atmosphere in the corner booth was very cozy on a rainy cold evening.

  Great Service and Perfect Ambiance for 2-4 ppl. Ask to be seated in the patio it has a romantic feel to it!

  We loved it all. Unfortunately the outdoor back patio was closed for a private party, but the inside was great, the food wonderful, the waitress affable. We will be back for sure. We even found a parking space with no trouble.

  We really enjoyed our first experience at Volo. Excellent small plates with truly innovative combinations of flavors. Very creative outdoor atmosphere--patio built with re-claimed bricks from demolished Chicago buildings, complete with cabanas if you can get one! Had a great conversation with the owner who is very passionate about his business. We will definitely return.

  I requested a table outside. Upon arrival, the hostess said they had one reserved, but that the radar showed the rain could potentially start up again (what restaurant will check that for you?!) As a compromise, they opened up the front windows and seated us right next to them. Our waitress was very patient and offered helpful suggestions on how to order as well as how to pair the wine. 3 hours flew by and each course was as good as the last. Volo is highly recommended.

  This is a great place to go to. The deal itself is value for money. The quality of food is totally delicious! A great selection from the gdine menu makes this place a winner. The wine flights are good in both quality

  Overall I enjoyed my dinner at Volo. I would not recommend the Marrow bone appetizer. I was slightly disappointed in the quantity and quality of the bones. Otherwise the ahi tuna was delish and so were the homemade chocolates. I'd love to come back and try other appetizers. The service was perfect! Our waiter had a great personality and attitude. I’d come back just for him!
