Union Sushi + BBQ Bar

  I went to Union Sushi BBQ Bar for lunch with 5 of my co-workers and it was delicious! For the price, the bento boxes are a really good deal. I had the Wagyu beef slider, crabcake? slider, and spicy shrimp roll, and it was definitely enough to keep me full throughout the rest of my workday. The only thing I was unsure about was the the gDine deal? I got a free drink with my meal, but otherwise it was the same price. Either way, I'm glad my colleagues and I enjoyed the atmosphere for lunch, and I'll definitely be going back! It helps that Union is only a block away from my office :)

  I saw a review about Union Sushi on Check Please! and decided to organize a group lunch with gDine. This was my first experience at this restaurant and using gDine. Both experiences were splendid!

  The food was good the service was good that sat us eventhough on half of our party was there 20 minutes before our reservation. It was a Friday night so typical busy crowd and it was VERY noisey so it made it difficult to hear our conversations or we had to talk loudly. Needless to say we stopped trying and just enjoyed the food and drinks which were great!

  Only complaint was that it was extremely slow for lunch. Food was amazing and I am happy to come back just not when I have somewhere to be. Come for dinner and get the black pepper shrimp and the pork belly skewer!

  I recently planned a dinner for our management team in the private upstairs space at Union. Several of the attendees commented to me how nice the space was (which never happens!)--they loved that there is a bar up there as well so they could mingle just with our group before dinner and not have to wait long for drinks. The bartender had memorized the group's drinks by the end of the night which was a nice touch. We also had a person with dietary restrictions who usually has to order off the menu, but he was able to find things he liked from the 4-course menu provided, which was great. Union is also a great place for lunch - yummy bento boxes and make sure to try the prosciutto-wrapped scallop. I worked with Kate at gDine and she made everything super smooth and easy during the booking.
