  We did an early Xmas/New Year Celebration for 2 here via Gdine and it was quite nice. Food was good, service excellent. Place small and cozy, only not so nice thing is proximity to bar and how it can get loud and one can sense smoking of cigars. Other than that, I think I'd go back if in that part of town.

  Difficult to call it a Champagne tasting when only 1 of 8 is from the region. The pours were very small especially considering the bottles were far from pricey. Did not think the value was there and would not do the tasting again, though the restaurant itself is nice and probably worth a try.

  The food was fresh, tasty, so good. We felt a little rushed as they brought out the first five courses in quick order, but overall our waiter was very attentive. We will go back.

  This is a quaint restaurant on the strip of restaurants off Randolph Street. The tapas were the perfect size to share for 2 people. Bacon wrapped dates were very tasty and laid atop a creamy red pepper sauce . For the fish course, we ordered the scallops. We have eaten out at some of the finest Chicago restaurants and I can honestly say, these were the best I've ever had. They melted in your mouth! Eggplant ricotta was seasoned perfectly and eggplant was very tender. Chocolate mouse/creme brulee desert was a perfect size (not too big) for a burst of sweet when you were done with your meal. The wine pairings (we had red) was great as well...the Greek wine was the best I've ever tried.

  The food was very good and we enjoyed the 8 courses of small plates. We just felt a bit rushed as one course would come out when we weren't finished with the previous course. Wish they had paid a bit more attention to that. Lovely summer night to sit outside. Gdine made it all simple!

  I obtained this Gdine to put the extra effort into V-day despite the week going very well for me. Unfortunately things went awry in my quest for brownie points because of the service here. I really regret prepaying the tip in this instance - the waitress did not deserve it and I have been known to tip up to 50% during v-day. It is in my own self interest to spin, cajole, make light of, and be tolerant of service issues when I am on a date, let alone entertaining a person I care about on Valentine's day. However I was disappointed here because of the waitstaff and consequently the management, but not the kitchen or the food runner. The failure here is a lack of consideration or attention to detail, or niceness by the waitress/server. She was curt/rude, not helpful, rushed for no apparent reason, and inattentive. Moreover the manager was not present to fix this. This resulted in courses that were mistimed and served concurrently after mixups, flat soda and being told flat is how should be (you can put feathers on a fish but it still is not a turkey), no meaningful checking in with the server until I had to get up and order wine from the bar, general curtness, and a substitution of part of our meal without explanation (even though we asked the food runner). No, its not like they were short on people, its not like they were too busy with the orders (the food came out too fast at times and not at all at other times),and its not like the food items they made were complex and finicky. I honestly cannot think of a single valid reason to give them an excuse. The food runner was trying, however he is not the server. I give him props for bringing me the extra bread that should have been served in the first place with the appetizer for 2 after I asked and even though he had trouble understanding english. Honestly he did the majority of the work and this should have easily freed up the waitstaff to actually check on customers. Instead, my Valentine's day dinner was spent in Extreme Anger. It was rushed and unpleasant and I have had better service at Olive Garden (and I hate Olive Garden). Moreover, I feel like a fool for buying this (and I love gdine). I also feel that the management had its head up its somewhere and the entire experience was a demeaning to the customers including the lovely couple next to us who almost didn't eat for no good reason.Other than that the bartender was pleasant and the food was ok-ish (It died on the pass most of the time, aka overcooked; the scallops and the salads were decent). I am not sure if I would use your service again and I certainly will be steering away everyone I know from this restaurant. It is not worth it, and I honestly feel like the waitstaff and management does not care about their customers. My GF attributes this to my prepaying the tip, though I have mixed feelings about this. However I am pretty clear that my experience here was not a pleasant one.

  We went to Nia for their 8 course NYE dinner and we couldn't have been happier. To be honest I was a little worried about the quantity of food for two people but man was I Wrong. The best two things we had were probably the butternut squash soup (SOOOOO GOOOD!!!!!) and the pumpkin gnocchi (also delicious). The atmosphere was perfect for a NYE date and the service was also spot on. Will definitely be back

  The ceviche is outstanding! I could have eaten a bowl of that all night. Went with a group of friends but it’s a better date spot than girlfriend hang-out. It’s dimly lit and the down-tempo music adds to a sultry vibe. Enjoyable food but I would not recommend the lamb chops -- very bland. Otherwise, I will return but next time with a date!

  Found out about this place because they are featured on gdine. I met up with an old friend for a late lunch on a Thursday. We were the only table in the restaurant...kind of nice, kind of creepy. HA. So on gdine....you basically have a prix fixe menu that you get to chose from. We started off with the Nia salad. It was fantastic. The vinaigrette was great. Next up was the spinach cigars. They basically reminded me of spanakopita. They came with a dill sauce. The next course was a cheese course. I would have liked to try a variety of cheeses, but you got to chose one. It was great and it came with a side of local honey and bread. Delish. I ended with the ceviche and also the beef brochette. The ceviche was perfect. It was citrus-y and refreshing. The beef was super tender. The service was a little lacking, especially since we were the only people in the restaurant. I had to ask for more water. The server kept checking on us, but it was because we kept having to order our dishes. Also, the gdine menu was a bit confusing. You thought you were sharing plates, but what ends up happening is that you share the first three and then get your own entree...which we ended up sharing also...but they have three different courses to chose from (ie there is 6 courses on the menu)...it was weird. Not a huge fan of that because you thought you were going to be able to get more shared plates?? I would go back. I thought the food was really good.

  We had a six-course tapas and everything was absolutely delicious. We met at Nia before a play and the service was great, the atmosphere comfortable and welcoming and the food absolutely amazing. We will absolutely going back to Nia and are telling everyone about how great it was. Make it a point to eat there!

  I met my friend for dinner there on Wednesday night. We ordered off the 6 course menu. There were numerous options which made sharing very easy. She the goat cheese salad was delish and the scallops with the white bean puree. . .can i get that recipe?? The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere perfect for a date night or quite dinner with friends. I will certainly be back.

  Food and service was excellent. The lamb and feta meatballs was very tasty. The bread pudding was very good, the ice cream added just the right touch. I highly recommend and would go back again. I had reservations for 12:00 , but they don't open till 2:00. This was on a Sunday.

  My wife and I had a great evening at Nia. Service was excellent right from the time we entered the door and just got better. We ordered different items for each of the 4 courses and every one of the eight dishes were excellent. We'll be back.

  5 Stars all around, baby!! Well, I had no idea what to expect, but being the skeptic I am, I'm always leery about using an online discount prix fixe...especially for a birthday. Well, I've gotta tell you, for $28 (not including tax or tip), it was a real treat. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and although a little bit dark, the ambiance and music (Sinatra, D. Martin, Armstrong, Crosby) were great. I would definitely go back again, but would probably wait for another discount prix fixe coupon. I ordered the arugala salad, salmon appetizer, sea scallops, and split the chocolate mousse and carmel bananas desserts. Yummy!!!
