  I was very excited to see you had Kamehachi on your list because I had always wanted to try them but never really had the opportunity. In short, we were to have 3 course-salad, appetizer and entree....the salad was like I've never seen before...it was Hijiki but it was like the size of a quarter..no joke! then the appetizer which was the spicy tuna-almost without taste if it wasn't spicy. The turtle roll was not bad when compared to the rest of my experience. Not sure if I would go there again or recommend it.

  I am being highly critical for our group, but first off, the service is tremendous. Some of the most attentive servers around, and not pushy. They seem to be there when you don't even realize it. The food was very good. For the value it was excellent. One strange thing was there was only the low sodium soy placed on the tables, with regular soy upon request. Everyone enjoyes the food, including 2 adventurous souls that had never eaten anything like this before. The salad was interesting and tasteful. The appetizer I had of the Kamehachi Maki was excellent. It was prepared perfectly and was very plentiful. The Green meal was plentiful. I needed to add a little more soy to increase the taste, but was prepared well and firm. The restaurant was not very full, but the decor and ambiance was nice. Somewhat traditional, but comfortable. Overall I would definitelt come back even though it is quite a drive from the office to return . . . must mean it was very good!
