Comments My boyfriend and I have coined Dorado as our special occasion restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations. The ambiance is romantic with dim-lighting, quiet conversations and an overall intimate setting. This place is BYOB which is just an added bonus to this already fabulous restaurant. Our favorite dishes: duck nachos, carne asada, pork chop, chipotle mashed potatoes, and the chipotle shrimp quesadilla. If you haven't been, GO!

Comments Great food. But, since when do they charge a corkage fee (with tax on the corkage fee?)

Comments I've eaten at Dorado many times before but now that I've dined there through gDine I would never do it any other way. The first time I booked Dorado through gDine there were 4 of us and they offered a 3 course menu. Everything was delicious but waaay too much food. Their portions are quite large, we could hardly fit all the food on the table. On our second visit (again 4 people) they had changed the gDine menu. Now each diner chooses one entree, plenty in itself, and either an app or a dessert, so between the 4 of us there were two apps and two desserts to share as well as each our own entree. Plenty of food and the gDine price was now lower. We were able to have a great 3 course dinner for almost the same price of an entree on their regular menu. The servers are very kind and attentive with big smiles. It's b.y.o.b. so we shook up a jar of margaritas to bring along and they gave us salted margarita glasses filled with ice. The atmosphere is quaint and casual, but it's got a nice festive feel and open kitchen. I love Dorado and we all went home very happy.
