  I would not have known about this place if not for Gdine, and I'm really glad to have discovered it. The food was excellent, and everything we had showed little unique touches that made the dishes distinctive. The staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly, in additional to being knowledgeable about both the food and wine. This made it feel like much more of a friendly neighborhood bistro than some snooty trendy hotspot. We all felt like we had been there before. The restaurant's layout is a bit quirky, which adds to it's warmth ... it's not a cookie cutter type of place in any way. We'll definitely be back!

  With an eight o'clock reservation we got our mains at 10 p.m. The food was very good and the atmosphere was really convivial but the waits for drinks, and food were just excessive. They said Gdine had made them busy, but lots of empty tables.

  Very good food was marred by erratic service. Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Bus, water and check service was often very slow. Will return for good food

  I've been to Blue Star twice in the past 2 months and both times were great experiences. The food is delicious and the service is awesome! Both times, the server asked if we were trying to make a show (and both times we were); she made sure our food, dessert, and check was ready so we could leave in time. They have great drink choices and both desserts I tried were amazing. I will definitely go back!

  Dined at Blue Star on Saturday and we really liked everything about it - the wine bar, the decor, the food, the wine flights, and the attentiveness of the staff. But it took SO LONG to get our food - it was kind of rediculous. The staf repeatedly apologized and comped a wine flight and our dessert which helped, but there is no excuse. There was a private wedding party being served at the same time we were there and I think it really slowed the kitchen down. We kept seeing plates and plates of food going right past us on the way to the private dining area. They need to figure out how not to make the regular diners suffer when they have booked a private party.

  I've gone to bluestar several times since it opened (I do live two blocks away...) and it has never disappointed. It's a little on the pricey side so the gdine offers really make it a worthwhile evening!

  Food was awesome. Love the wine list... Live guitar music was a nice touch. We highly recommend this place for an enjoyable evening. Will go back again... We'll try some small plates and wine at the bar next time...

  I wanted to find a different retraunt to celebrate my wife and I's 35th wedding anniversary. This restraunt was not only different but awesome. The food was delicious and the service superb. The staff I believe went out of their way to make our dinning experience and our anniversary one we could remember. Thank you Blue Star from my heart thank you!

  Very interesting and tasteful choices. The Bacon wrapped dates are a must and the entrees are equally well-done.. I hjave been there 3 times within 2 weeks. A real gem.

  Fireside bloodies, fast, attentive service, and delicious selections. It made me feel like I was on vacation for just the afternoon. They are always so personal and welcoming @ Blue Star-we've been for dinner twice in the past, always a hit!

  The decor and setting of the restaurant was excellent and very unique and the food was delicious. The alcohol selection was very expansive and the mixed drinks were excellent. I would highly recommend this bistro to anyone.
